Description: 1930’s Royal Model O Touch Control Portable Typewriter w/ Case! 52 This listing is for a vintage Royal typewriter. I believe this is the Model O 1930’s touch control portable typewriter. Part of the serial number is covered and the only parts that I can see are 827 9 36. This has quite a bit of wear and needs cleaning and repair. There is also a strong musty scent to this. This comes with the original case which has quite a bit of wear as well. If you push the carriage return lever – it slides to the right – but does not stay there. It automatically moves back to the left position. Since it will not stay in the right position you cannot type on this. There is rash areas on the paint, pitting on some of the metal. Definitely a project piece. I am putting this in a low starting auction. Add this piece to your collection. It would be great if it had some love.
