Description: 1930 US navy penalty cover with handstamp postmark of USS Bernadou. Corner card is from the ship, as part of the Destroyer Squadron Seven scouting fleet. Bernadou, DD-153, was a wickes-class destroyer, in service 1919-1922 and 1930-1945. The ship was awarded 5 battle stars for WWII service in the atlantic. Your satisfaction is guaranteed.
