Please note that the book is really old, which printed 91 years ago, but not modern reprint or more late re-edition. Middle used (not good condition), tears and damage to the spine, dirt and abrasion of the cover, along the spine a trace of adhesive tape, a through light brown stain on the right side, traces of time (see pictures). Трошин Николай Степанович (1897 - 1990) - живописец, график, иллюстратор книг и журналов, плакатист, оформитель выставок, сценограф, изобретатель. В 1918–1920 гг. учился во Вхутемасе в мастерской И.И. Машкова. С 1922 года живет в Москве, работает над плакатами в госпредприятии «Трансреклама». В 1923 г. женится на художнице О.К. Дейнеко. В 1923–1930 гг. совместно с O.K. Дейнеко создает ряд детских книжек. Пишет книгу «Основы композиции в фотографии» (Москва, «Огонек», 1929).В 1930–1941 гг. работает главным художником журнала «СССР на стройке», в 1937 г. на Всемирной выставке в Париже журнал удостоен «Гран-при». В эти годы является автором проектов оформления и главным художником выставок: «Пятилетку в четыре года» (1931), «Победы первой пятилетки» (1932), Отдела печати в Советском павильоне на Всемирной выставке в Париже (1937), Рязанского зала на ВСХВ (1939). Совместно с Н. Мусатовым и Б. Родионовым оформляет центральные площади Москвы к праздникам на темы: «Блюминг», «МТС», «Беломорканал», «Волга-канал», «Метро» (1933-1934), вместе с Д. Моором и С. Сенькиным оформляет Манежную площадь на тему «Изобилие» (1937). В 1940 г. в Москве издательство «Искусство» выпускает альбом «Красная Армия», который Н.С. Трошин оформляет как главный художник. В 1941–1945 гг. Трошин работает над оборонными плакатами. В 1947–1953 гг. художник, по приглашению Общества культурных связей с зарубежными странами для оформления советских выставок за границей, оформляет выставки «Возрождение Донбасса», «32-я годовщина СССР» и другие. В эти же годы получает патент на изобретение способа химической раскраски фотографий. В 1954–1959 гг. Трошин оформляет отделы выставок: «Электроника и связь» (ВДНХ), «Высшее образование в СССР» (Нью-Йорк), «Москва социалистическая» (Музей истории и реконструкции Москвы), «Борьба за мир» (Главный павильон ВДНХ), работает в книжной графике. Николай Степанович Трошин – русский художник, разделивший со своей страной все радости и тревоги XX столетия. Художник известен как большой мастер карандашного рисунка. Nikolay Troshin (1897 - 1990) - painter, graphic artist, illustrator of books and magazines, poster artist, exhibition designer, stage designer, inventor.In the years 1918-1920. studied in Vhutemas in the workshop of I.I. Mashkov. Since 1922 he lives in Moscow, works on posters at the state-owned "Transreklama" enterprise. In 1923 he marries the artist O.K. Deineco. In the years 1923-1930. jointly with O.K. Deineco creates a number of children's books. He writes the book "Fundamentals of Composition in Photography" (Moscow, "Ogonyok" 1929).In 1930-1941 works as the main artist of the magazine "USSR in Construction", in 1937 at the World Exhibition in Paris, the magazine was awarded the "Grand Prix". During these years, he is the author of design projects and the main artist of the exhibitions: “Five-year Plan for Four Years” (1931), “Victories of the First Five-Year Plan” (1932), Press Department in the Soviet Pavilion at the World Exhibition in Paris (1937), Ryazan Hall at the All-Union Exhibition of Artists ( 1939). Together with N. Musatov and B. Rodionov, he arranges the central squares of Moscow for the holidays on the topics: “Blooming”, “MTS”, “Belomorkanal”, “Volga-channel”, “Metro” (1933-1934), together with D. Moor and S. In the same years he received a patent for the invention of a method for chemical coloring of photographs. In 1954-1959 Troshin draws up the exhibition departments: “Electronics and Communications” (VDNH), “Higher Education in the USSR” (New York), “Socialist Moscow” (Museum of the History and Reconstruction of Moscow), “Struggle for Peace” (Main Pavilion of VDNH), works in book graphics. Nikolai Troshin is a Russian artist who shared with his country all the joys and worries of the XX century. The artist is known as great master of pencil drawing. Выполняла зарисовки народного орнамента, костюмов и предметов крестьянского быта Курской и Орловской губерний. Совместно с мужем Н.С. Трошиным писала и иллюстрировала детские книги «Как хлопок ситцем стал», «Хлеб-завод № 3», «От каучука до галоши». Наибольшую известность получила серия «Прачки». Принимала участие в оформлении ряда журналов. Участник выставки «Московские художники в дни войны» (1942). Работала художником-оформителем на ВДНХ СССР (1960-е). Olga Deineko (1897 - 1970) - graphic artist, book illustrator. The author of a number of children's books and illustrations for them. She studied at the School of Baron Stieglitz (1916–1918), at VKHUTEMAS (1919–1923) with I. Mashkov, N.N. Kupriyanova, V.A. Tabor. Member of the Associationof workers of the revolutionary poster (1931-1932). Since 1932 she worked in the watercolor technique, created series on pioneer life themes and portraits. Performed sketches of folk ornament, costumes and household items of the Kursk and Oryol provinces. Together with her husband N. S. Troshin, she wrote and illustrated children's books “How Cotton Became Chintz”, “Bread Factory No. 3”, “From Rubber to Galoshes”. The most famous was the Laundress series. She took part in the design of a number of magazines. Member of the exhibition "Moscow artists in the days of the war" (1942). She worked as a graphic designer at the Exhibition of Economic Achievements of the USSR (1960s).
