David Pearlman’s). There is a quarter-inch tear in the right margin of an early unpaginated page that shows a photo of Orville Wright. The image is intact. The book is 9” x 6.4”; including appendix, there are 484 pages; the text block and illustrations are clean and unmarked. The folding plates are in good condition. First Edition, First Printing. Publisher's cloth boards. Profusely illustrated, with several folding maps. The trade group that published the year book, the Aeronautical Chamber of Commerce, formally organized with 100 charter members on Dec. 31, 1921, with the mission to support the advancement of aeronautics. From 1919 into the early 1960s, the group published the Aircraft Year Book. This is an excellent gift for an aviation enthusiast, a pilot, a history buff or anyone with an interest in transportation and commerce in the United States at the end of the Roaring ‘20s, just after Lindbergh’s history-making flight across the Atlantic.
