Description: 1928 hardcover book published for the Boy Scouts of America by the John C. Winston Co. The Lone Scout of the Sky, The Boys' Story of Charles A. Lindbergh by James E. West of the Boy Scouts of America. 275 pages, illustrated, the last part gives instruction for making a flying model of the Spirit of St. Louis (though it's not easy to follow). Has the paper bookmark that came with it and the dustjacket but that's in pretty bad shape as there are big tears and wear all over the jacket. Still, nice to see Lindy on there. The book has page yellowing and some spotting or soiling on the exterior along the page edges when the book is closed. Some hardcover wear with a bit of soiling on the exposed parts where the jacket is no longer covering. This will be more clear than the digital photo shows. The high bidder is to pay for shipping, international shipping will be much more, sorry but the P.O. drastically increased postage for international packages - please email for a quote before bidding.
