This scarce antique magazine is over 97 years old! Nicely preserved overall! Gilt embellished front cover still shines brightly despite age! Exterior is fully detached from text block but remains in one piece. Exterior also shows some light soiling and rubbing, some creasing and general wear around the extremities, including bumping to the corners. The spine also shows a bit of soiling and wear, but the issue number, title and publication date can still be read. Internally, this volume is in good shape overall. Again, the entire exterior including the front and rear cover and spine is detached, but remains in one piece. The text block itself is secure, with all pages attached to the the stapled binding. Staples show rusting as pictured. This volume feels sturdy overall, despite the detached cover. Otherwise this volume is clean and free from bookplates, signatures, inscriptions and library markings. The text block of this volume is very clean throughout. There is some typical age-related toning to the pages, the odd spot of light soiling, and some minor staining in the margins from early exposure to moisture, but otherwise this volume is clean and free from rips, tears, writing and markings.
