Description: Original October 17,1925 invoice from C.C. Enochs Cash Store, White Deer, Texas. Receipt is for $2.50 for a 30x3 1/2 innertube (rear tire size for a Ford Model T). The purchase was made by E.E. Townsend, a traveling sales agent for the St Joseph Stockyards Company of St Joseph, Missouri and was submitted as part of his October, 1925 Expense Report. Clarence C. Enochs was born in Texas in 1888 and died in Lubbock, Texas in 1945. He lived in White Deer (and presumably operated his store) from 1917 to 1937. He moved to Amarillo in 1937 and thence Lubbock in 1941.
