Description: This is a rare find for collectors of vintage percussion instruments. The 1920s Leedy 26.5" Bass Drum was played by the original Detroit band "The Wilma Jean Duo". The drum was manufactured in the United States during that time period and has been well-preserved since then. It's a great addition to any collection of vintage musical instruments. The brand Leedy is known for producing high-quality drums, and this one is no exception. It's a unique piece with a rich history that will make a great conversation starter. MEASURES 26 1/2" DIAMETER - - 16 1/4" WIDTH Good condition items function properly but may exhibit some wear and tear HAS A KILLER BLACK AND WHITE MARBLE STYLE FINISH (VERY RARE) PAINTED or APPLIED with GLITTER OUTLINE - THE WILMA JEAN DUO - Could not feel any edges to the lettering, not sure when added. DRUM SOUNDS GREAT AND LOOKS TO BE IN VERY GOOD CONDITION FOR AGE. THIS WAS PURCHASED YEARS (DECADES) AGO IN DETROIT MICHIGAN IN THE EXACT SAME CONDITION BY A PROFESSIONAL SESSION DRUMMER. HE KEPT IT IN HIS STUDIO UNTIL WE OBTAINED IT THIS SUMMER. WE WERE NOT ABLE TO GET INFORMATION ON THE WILMA JEAN DUO, POSSIBLE LOCAL NIGHT CLUB JAZZ BAND (GUESS ONLY). STILL A VERY COOL AND RARE DRUM FOR THE COLLECTOR SEE PICTURES FOR DETAILS AND PLEASE ASK ANY QUESTIONS,
