Description: 1920's LADIES ART DECO STYLE BLACK ENAMEL ELGIN WATCH WITH LINKED BAND. Movement: Well made Elgin made in the USA manual wind movement. The movement is working well & keeping good time. Case, Crystal & Crown: Original case is signed Cased and Timed by Elgin Watch Co. 14K GF. The Black enamel surrounds the small round shaped face of the watch. Enamel is in good condition with scuff marks from wear. The watch winds and sets properly. Crystal is original and scratch free. . Dial &Hands: 100% Original on the fairly clean silvery white dial with black crisp number pattern. Hands are original to the watch. Size: Measures 10 mm side to side (excluding crown) and 25 mm lug to lug. Band: Band is a Black cord with a clasp. Watch and band measure 6 1/4” clasp closed and 8” open. Tip for collectors: Despite popular demand for refinished clean dials, I am aware of collectors' search and sensitivity for original dials. Therefore any dials known to be refinished, will be clearly mentioned in the dial section of the description. Otherwise, dial is believed to be 100% original.
