Description: 1920s Ladies Cocktail Rolex. Small measuring just 3.1cm lug to lug. Lug width 3mm. Case made of 18ct yellow gold with white gold lugs. Beautiful etchings on the case sides. Glass not great condition. Solid but quite a few scratches as shown. Dial in ok condition. Not sure what material, possibly silver, maybe white gold..? Faint writing stating: “Rolex” below the hands. 18ct Gold total weighs 6.98 grams. At todays price in gold that is roughly £330 Rolex Prima movement. Early Rolex movement. This watch is produced at least 15 years after the establishment of the Rolex brand so early and very rare piece! The movement however isn’t in working order. The crown does pull out of the movement (it shouldn’t) but the hands do wind and with a spin the mechanism does tick for a couple of seconds. Lovely little restoration piece. Would be sad to see it go, but I’m sure someone else could appreciate and love it more than I ever will. Do make me a sensible offer and any questions please ask!
