Description: Antique 1920s dress in very nice condition. The dress is made of a sheer black silk or rayon chiffon and it has heavy, ornate beaded throughout. The bodice has short sleeves and a beaded overlay that morphs into a drop waist belt with a large beaded buckle on one side. This side of the skirt has draped hips swag panels. The dress is lined in very lightweight silk. It has no labels and no closures. Again, the condition is quite good. The shoulders and underarms are stable and in good shape. There are two small holes near the back right armhole (see photo). The hem of the overlay has a crease so I'm guessing it may have been let down at some point. There's a straight hole of about 2/8" by 1/8" on the lower left side of the front of the skirt. And you will find some areas of bead loss but this is contained into small straight areas, it is fairly minor and not widespread. The dress is offered as-is and as-found. You may find some other very minor flaws but I've done my best to inspect, photograph, and describe the dress. I want you to know what you're getting!
