Description: This is a great lot of 4 1920-1921 National Geographic magazines, the October 1920 issue and March, April and December 1921 issues. As with all Nat Geos, there are great articles with extensive photographs. Stories include Nepal, Human Emotions Captured on Photography, Tahiti, Japanese newspapers, Ceylon and India in color, Personal Narrative of the First Aerial Voyage Half Around the World, America in the Air, Modern Persia and Teheran, The Islands of the Pacific, Nauru, Yap and Other Pacific Islands under Japanese mandate and Easter Island. Included is a 18 x 24 inch wall map showing the division of Pacific Islands under mandate. Issues are in better than normal condition. While there is some spine and cover damage, all issues are tight and intact and no pages missing. Contents are in good condition and tight, with no stains. Owner's name in pencil on the first inside page on December. Slightly musty from storage and spine damage as photos show. Great historic collection from an era before TV and newsreels brought the news of the day. Note: the map seems to sell for $15 and the Persia issue $10. That's the reason for the price being this high. If this lot doesn't sell, I'll break these up into separate lots. Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE High bidder pays 4 lbs.
