Description: You will receive the exact coin seen in the image! The 1909 Philadelphia Lincoln Penny was struck to commemorate the 100 year anniversary of our 16th Presidents’ birth year. The coin features the iconic image of Abraham Lincoln on the obverse. On the reverse side we see two wheat stocks and the words ONE CENT in the center and UNITED STATES OF AMERICA directly below. A unique feature of some 1909 Lincoln cents is the appearance of a 2nd ear. (The 2nd ear is not considered a mint error.) The appearance of the 2nd pinna appears under good light in a somewhat gradual way like an apparition. I’ve coined it “Van Gogh’s Ear” The Lincoln VDB is a trove’d coin of old collectors & new collectors alike. While it saw an above average mint It’s very rare to find in these graded MS 60 & higher! The metal is comprised of 75% copper & 25% nickel. A little over 27 million were minted. The large VDB on obverse gives homage to its designer - Victor David Brenner.
