Description: A scarce unused ticket from a Sam McVea's contest with Bill Harris on June 26, 1909 in Marseille, France. McVea won by fifth round KO. The event was promoted by D. Manselon and held at the Amphitheatre Assis. Entry was 5 1/2 Francs. The paper ticket consists of three sections divided by perforations. All sections are still firmly intact. Two staple holes to the left edge from being in a ticket booklet. Some light age toning, otherwise excellent. There are two tickets available - no. 5970 and no. 5971.
