Description: For sale at $7,500! Opening Day 1905 Pittsburg vs Cincinnati! This original photograph is from Palace of the Fans which housed the Reds from 1902-1911. I bought this from a son who’s father pitched batting practice for the Reds at the age of 14 in the 1940s and was giving this in 1942 by Noodles Hahn who pitched for the Reds from 1899 to 1905 then was a pitching coach! The sons father lived below Noodles Hahn in a home on Probasco Ave in the 40s. The detail in this photograph is amazing up close. Honus Wagner is playing this game in this photograph. No other examples of this photograph have sold to my knowledge and this is likely a 1 of a kind image that has survived. It’s a great early piece of Cincinnati Reds history!
