It shows a beautiful view of Nansen meeting Jackson during his Arctic expedition on 17 June 1896. This was an attempt to reach the geographical North Pole. Fridtjof Wedel-Jarlsberg Nansen (1861–1930) was a Norwegian Explorer, Scientist and Diplomat. Frederick George Jackson (1860-1938), was a British Explorer. This postcard was published by Meissner & Buch in 1898. So it is more than one HUNDRED and 20 years OLD. The publisher’s code is Serie 1016. It is still in mint condition.
