Front Cover embossed w/birch branches and flowers w/berries outlined in gilt. Title and author's name also in gilt. All of the page edges are in gilt. Front is piece w/tissue guard. Pages tight to spine. Slight gap in binding bewteen pp 8 & 9, but not loose. Top and bottom of spine frayed. Corners are worn, top right one the most. Front and back edges of spine have light cracks near bottom. Inside front has light vertical crack, top to bottom. Pages yellowed with age. All pages in excellent condition, clean and unmarked. A solid book, remarkably clean, but with some noticable wear.
