Mount is printed on the verso with detailed promotional text for The Royal Photo View Company, L. Bramson manager, Louisville, Kentucky. Alas, while that info is great, there is no indication of the names of these men or of the building behind them. The quality of the original focus is so good however that someone may be able to ID some of them. (I slightly lightened one of the two full scans above). The "look" of the original, here, is somewhat between those 2 versions). GREAT Photographer's imprint & ad on the verso! I assume this would have been made in or near Louisville. Mount measures 11 inches by 9 inches; silver emulsion image area measures just over 8 x 6 inches. Modest wear around edges of mount else VG with great focus & contrast . . . . . . . . . . . . Remember that my tiny slips of VIOLET paper are not attached to the item. They are put on the scanner bed merely to protect the uniqueness or near uniqueness of an image so that the high bidder gets an item that has not been copied via someone's computer.
