Description: This is a 1890 approximate commode style bureau of Walnut decorated with ironstone knobs on drawer and shelved cupboard. Magazine article from Spinning Wheel magazine May 1977 was used as part of dating this item. The bureau in the article has a diamond pattern however it is similar in most other respects This was appraised and identified by the owner of Fireside Antiques in Mentor Ohio.
