Description: 1887 Allen and Ginter N9 Flags of All Nations. A rare early issue and extremely beautiful set. The set features 50 Countries with a representation of their flag and a popular scene from the nation. Very rare and very desirable. There are multiple variations to this set. A curved text version with a flared “A” and a non-flared “A”, a Right Bower back version and a block letter back. As well, there are some front variations as well. A Virginia Brights variation, fancy versions of several flags and a variation with no “s” on Ginter’s. There are also 2 very rare SP cards in the set - Corea and Roumania. Both cards are nearly impossible to find. At 133 years old, these cards are in amazing condition.
