Description: Very nice 1880 S with original patina. Full Breast feathers on the eagle are the only Morgans I call BU. This is the high point of the coin and gets rubbed out easily during circulation. I have seen flat chested eagles, that look like chickens, making MS 66 from both PCGS and NGC. These companies are owned by the same people and introduce human error into every coin graded. Till an AI coin grading system is established, I will stay away from them. Grade your Morgans from the reverse by breast feathers and the coins strike. Obviously if the high point is wore, the rest of the coin will also exhibit wear. Thanks
