Description: Up for sale is this extremely rare antique 1879 copy of, "The Children's Musical Cinderella: Told in Familiar Words to Familiar Tunes." The book is softcover and is overall in good condition with some minor signs of wear and age. It is illustrated by Walter Crane with 6 full page color illustrations and one double page illustration. The book comes with a letter signed by one of the authors, Louis N. Parker. The binding has been neatly repaired & the staples have been replaced. The paper covers only have some mild wear. There is a period name inscription to the top margin of the illustrated preface page and a little bit of rust near some of the staple holes. Besides that, the interior is lightly toned from age but is fairly nice and clean with just some occasional light foxing, soiling, and grubbiness. Along with that there may be the very occasional page with some kind of other imperfection such as a small chip or tear, minor stain, creased page corner, etc. Generally though, it's a nice copy. The book measures approximately 9 3/4 inches by 7 1/4 inches and is 30 pages long. Please look at all of the photos to further note the condition. The cost of shipping includes insurance to the U.S.
