Covers and spines on both volumes have some age-related toning and wear that has caused some discoloration and tearing. Corners of covers have tearing and are bent inwards. Pages have age-related toning and foxing. Hinges are slightly worn, but pages remain attached and generally have good support. Illustrations have toning, but are otherwise in good condition and clear to see. Please see photographs and ask any questions prior to purchasing. Reverends Conybeare and Howson were both prominent members within their religion, with Conybeare a vicar and Howson an English divine.
