H. Dudley, Esq. (Thomas), Camden, New Jersey;Letter is dated Trenton, February 10th, 1847 --- and begins, "Thos. H. Dudley, Esq., Dear Sir - I received your letter of the 3rd ... today from the post office --- on account of the excitement of the fire and not being well. I had entirely forgotten your Bill, which ..... the same day of the fired (2nd). I herewith enclose the same as it pass... I took a very bad cold the night of the fire and am now scarcely able to be about.""The Washington township business, I think, is likely to be defeated.
