Parker was a London craftsman working principally in bronze. William Parker (father) and his successors were George IVs chief lighting suppliers. This small bronze (5-1/2") does not have a base. [There is one online with a base, offered for 375 English Pounds ($500+ USD)] It has the above inscription on back mostly legible; however, you can only see the cursive "L" in "London." The rest has worn off. Otherwise, it is in very good condition.
