Description: I have here for sale a book entitled THE WORKS OF LORD BYRON VOL II published by John Murray, London, in 1821. This volume includes "Childe Harold's Pilgrimage Canto II and Canto IV with Notes to both. The four parts of the poem were originally published between 1812 and 1818. Tan patterned boards with a decorative gilt border. Front board detached and rear board partially detached. Minor marks on the boards with some wear along the edges. Four raised bands with burgundy title and number blocks with gilt lettering and gilt decoration on the spine. Wear to the leather and to the gilt. Marbled endpapers and page edges. Light foxing to pages. All pages are firm and the book is in very good internal condition. 272 pages. 17 x 10.5 cm.We have over 2000 items in our Ebay shop on a range of subjects, so please feel free to have a browse and see if anything else takes your fancy.Postage will be by Air Mail outside of UK.
