Satori family provenance, a notable Trenton family, as partially financing and building the first Catholic Church in New Jersey. They were distinguished as the first prominent Italian family to settle in the Trenton area in the year 1800. Giovanni Battiste Satori arrived in America in 1800 as an economic emissary of the Vatican State to the United States. He married French ex-pat Henriette de Woofoin in 1804 and together they had fourteen children. One of those children, Vincent, was the previous owner of this book.
