Description: A stunning early Bust Half, and a coin that we often see in an AU holder at other grading services. Superb and original surfaces, complete with hints of russet, beige, and peripheral luster that just lights up these surfaces under light. Weakness on the left wing is very typical, as that is how they were all struck. This coin was in David Kahn’s personal collection for the last few years, and one of the first coins he submitted to CACG for grading. A very high quality example for the astute collector. While unattributed on the slab, this is the O-101a, R1 as evidenced by the myriad of die cracks through and near the date on the obverse.
