Exhibiting the most distinguished characters, literary, military, and political in the recent annals of the French Republic. With an appendix containing the celebrated pamphlet of 'Killing No Murder'. Containing biographies of a number of individuals, with Vol 2 focusing on Generals in the Army of England, and The Bonaparte Family. Only vols 1 and 2 are for sale here. I do not have vol 3. Bound in leather hardboards with gilt lettering to red title blocks on the spines. Vol 2's front and rear joints are starting to split. Binding tight. Bookplates to the front pastedowns, otherwise pages clean.
