Description: eBay drives me insane with questions that aren't relevant. This is a wonderful piece of Victorian desktop storage. My mother collected antiques. I have been using this as a side table in the guest room. 19 1/4" tall x 13 1/4" wide x 10 3/8" deep. I believe the wood is walnut, but you can look closer and let me know if I have misstated. It is not on purpose. Top part has room for 3 ledgers roughly each would be 15" x 8 1/2" x 2". There are three side squares I would imagine to store your ink or keep small boxes. They are roughly 5" t x 4" across x 7" deep. You can store alot in there. It has a lock, I'm not sure if that's the original lock cover. I would think it wasn't so ornate. I do not have the key to lock and unlock it. Sorry. There is a bottom drawer with the wonderful Victorian carved fruit or nuts design. It measures inside 9 3/4" x 8" x 2" . There are some rub, dings, scratches etc., but not as much as you would imagine and old piece to have (especially in my house). I don't know where my mother picked this up. She lived in NY and CT all her life and travelled but U.S. only. She loved auctions (don't we all). Dove tailing connection on drawers and even on the bottom piece of wood. There is that old crack but it is not moving. I think it adds to the character of the piece. Weighs 12 lbs. prior to packaging. Local pick up available in the Clarksville, TN area.
