Description: 1795 Dublin D&H 307, Alexander Cornwell, Halfpenny Conder Token A nice, late die state example of this 18th century Conder token which is now known to have been issued by an Edinburgh merchant. Worn but well detailed. O: Bust to left, ALEXR. CORNWELL.R: A shield, on which is "FOR TRADE." surmounted by the Prince of Wales' crest. 1795.E: Plain. This token is listed in Dalton & Hamer as Dublin 307. I would grade this token Good Fine (Sheldon VF35). I have provided high-resolution close up photos so you can decide on a grade for yourself.
