Description: Mezzotint Etching by John Boydell of a Claude Le Lorrain Drawing from the Collection of the Duke of Devonshire, Dated 1776 See condition description. This is creatively framed in a shallow shadow box. Back paper is torn away, revealing what looks like museum catalog markings. This appears to be original and I am confident it is. There are other listings where in the lower right corner you can see modern markings. This does not have it. The aging of the edge of the print, and a close examination of the printing both further boost my confidence. This weighs about 2.5 pounds with the frame and measures 18" x 77". Add 2 pounds of packaging material to keep it safe and protected. If you want a special art handler to ship the work, I am willing to use any service you wish.
