Description: 17.5 MW County Perfection Dressage saddle with a medium-wide tree, forward flaps and wool flocked skid row panels that can be adjusted. This saddle also features flaps with a combination of calf over upgraded buffalo leather. The Perfection's semi deep seat cradles the rider perfectly while its external blocks offer exceptional security and help with opening the hip angle. The semi forward flap angle will accommodate a longer legged rider and allow you to feel free yet supported through your seat and leg. County saddles are made on an adjustable wooden spring tree and are wool flocked for your horse’s comfort! As reflected in the price, this saddle is in need of some repair/replacement to the wear leather on the inside flaps due to hardening, splitting, and flaking of the leather. There is no damage to the exterior or backside of the flaps (that sits next to the horse). Repairs don't necessarily need to be done immediately, it is usable in this condition....it will however deteriorate over time and with use. It was in this condition when I bought it and recently when I started using it more my saddle fitter suggested I try to soak the flaps in warm water and then hand work the leather to soften it... it didn't work. It also doesn't fit my horse very well and I'm ready to upgrade. This would be prefect saddle for someone new to dressage or eventing who needs a dressage saddle but isn't ready to make a huge investment.
