Description: Volume two of the Works of Virgil containing primarily the Aeneid in Latin and French. Several nice surprises inside with two nice woodcuts, one at the very front “Eneide L.1 er” and the other after page 105, “Eneide L. 2.”, nice decorative flourishes at the end of chapters including a very nicely hand-colored example. Spine is falling apart and the binding has much scuffing. Inside, very nice with no lost pages that we know of but some loose ones. Writing inside the front with what appears to be a name at the inside corner the first spare and some doodling on the next.
