This pair is a reproduction of a old pair of salts made by Thomas Folkingham of London in 1714, and is in a trencher style. The salt cellars are true to the 18th century form, with paneled sides. The salts have never been monogrammed. The underside of each one is marked with the Tiffany & Company sterling silver hallmark used between 1907 and 1947 as well as: Reproduction, original by Thomas Folkingham 1714. This pair is in excellent overall condition. There are no dents, no breaks, no splits, no monograms, no monogram removals and no repairs.
