Vessels and tubes are sterilized in a pressure cooker, Instant Pot, or in small batches in a microwave. Instructions are included in Microclone kits and videos are linked to the Microclone web site. Tissueponics uses Rootkit media to make clean pre-rooted 2-inch minicuttings in only 3 weeks that are then planted in clean or sterile plug media to root over a few weeks. Cuttings in photos rooted in three weeks. Microclone tissue culture and Tissueponics are based on using pruned tops and small side limbs to make lots of new plants from what would be thrown out. Tissueponics is scaleable to any size production and is currently used in nurseries and grow facilities producing over 1000 clones a day.
