Description: HERBERT PAUS Collection of 25 Book Covers 1940's I originally owned several Herbert Paus paintings at one time, thus I tried to collect every Paus image I could. I amassed hundreds of period covers, interior illustrations as well as paintings. I am in the process of thinning out this collection as well as several other collections that I have excessive amounts of inventory of. I am offering these covers only of "The Wonderland of Knowledge" a pictorial pageant book fronts. Each cover is 6 1/2" x 9 1/2" and 1/8" thick hard covers all illustrated fronts by Herbert Paus. These images were only used for these covers and nothing else. Each cover resembles tooled embossed leather (they are not) with a 4" by 4 1/2" past down color image. All back show 1940's-1950's collection of travel art images in blue tones.
