There are no defects, so you can continue to use it for a long time. ~Pearl D-FLAVOR~A prototype specially manufactured at Pearl's domestic drum custom workshop "D-FLAVOR". The shell is a custom-made African mahogany shell that is not included in the catalog, assembled in a domestic workshop. The hoop uses a fat tone hoop instead of a highly rigid master cast hoop. This reduces the hardness of the sound and makes it soft and warm. It is especially ideal for recording, as it controls harsh overtones. The size is 14 x 4 inches, so it has a shallow body, so it retains the warmth unique to mahogany shells while retaining the crispness. The maple reinforcement amplifies the volume and brightness, making this a versatile snare that can be used in any situation.
