1250W 310-A Farberware 12" Electric Frying Pan Skillet 100 Heat Control Dome Lid

Description: You are looking at a vintage 1960s, previously owned and used, aluminum clad, stainless steel, 1250 watt, 12" wide, electric skillet/frying pan with high dome lid and Mid Century Modern black Bakelite "feet", it is made in the USA in Yonkers, NY by Farberware ~ the Model 310-A, which is "Completely Immersible" which still has its original Model 100 "Perfect Heat" Control (can handle up to 1500 watts) and 4 feet, 9 inch long cord with non-polarized plug. This unit is in good, clean, working condition and it heats up quickly (I tested it with water) ~ it has no pitting, no warping, no dings ~ it does have minor scratches and scuffs from use and cleanings. One of the Bakelite legs has 5/8" long x 1/4" deep chip (see last pic) which does not interfere with usability. Completely Immersible in Water which makes cleaning easy! Thanks to the removable Control, you can completely immerse your fry pan in water for the easiest cleaning of all! Better cooking...easier cleaning with Farberware's "Perfect Heat" automatic electric cookware! "Perfect Heat" Control means you can dial perfect heat for every type of cooking (100 - 425 degrees). This control is designed for many years of service and it fits all of the other Farberware automatic appliances you might own as well! TO USE: Preheat appliance before cooking, unless otherwise stated. Red light will indicate selected temperature is being reached, at which point light will go off. While food cooks, light will go on and off indicating temperature is being maintained. This unit is 9 1/4" tall to top of black Bakelite knob on lid (3 1/8" tall without the lid). The legs are 1 3/4" tall. The lid itself is 5 1/4" tall (3/8" sits inside the pan). With the handles, it is 20" long. Before packaging for shipping, it weighs a total of 6 pounds (the Bakelite knob on the lid will be unscrewed for shipping ~ the buyer must screw it back on after un-packing).
