Description: THE OZ LITTLE WIZARD BOOK SET is a set of 6 handcrafted, hardbound, miniature reproductions of the six booklets published as “Oz books in miniature” in 1913 written by L. Frank Baum and all illustrated by John R. Neill. The titles are Ozma and The Little Wizard, Jack Pumpkinhead and The Sawhorse, The Scarecrow and The Tin Woodman, Tik Tok and The Nome King, Little Dorothy and Toto and The Cowardly Lion And The Hungry Tiger. Each volume measures 5/8 inch high by 1 and 1/2 inch wide and 1/8 inch thick and contains the full text of the story and 8 full color plates in 24 pages. They are constructed using traditional book making techniques and other techniques I have developed for making miniature books. The spines are printed with the title so the volume will look well on a bookshelf. I personally make each book. My miniature books are not intended for children and are not toys. THE PICTURE IS LARGE TO ENABLE CLOSE VIEWING OF THE BOOK DETAILS. THE QUARTER IN THE PHOTO MEASURES .955 INCHES OR 24.26 MM.
