Description: This is a collectible tin of unknown provenance or history. It came from my family's collection of miscellaneous knick knacks and antiques. I'm positive it was made before 2000, but other than that I don't know when it was produced. It's fairly large, measuring just over 12" in diameter and a bit over 4" deep. The imprint on the bottom is labeled "Quinlan's" and the underside of the lid has a short story titled "Romance of the Pretzel." As you can see in the photos, the tin is predominantly white / off-white with some gold stripes on the outer bottom and a blue / yellow / red floral border pattern on the lid. In the center is a young lady with a basket. Any other Quinlan's tins I've seen online describe this same photo as "an Amish girl," so let's go with that. The tin is in good shape with minimal wear and no dings or dents. The lid does show some fading (there is a streak where the color is worn away) and the bottom interior is a little bit scuffed and dull around the edges as you can see in the photos.
