Description: 11" HOPI KACHINA by SHIRLEY ADAMS Black Head Kachina carved from cottonwood by master carver Shirley Adams, Second Mesa of the Hopi Reservation. This Kachina stands 11 inches tall (29 cm) intricately carved and masterfully painted in bright colors. An authentic piece of Hopi art for the discriminate collector. It is in excellent preowned condition. One tiny crack on top of head by the feather as shown (photo 10) and a few spots on the skirt where the paint is worn.(photo 9) Signed on the bottom by the artist.
