The comics we are choosing for these lots won't be the usual box full of comics published by obscure and defunct comic publishers from the mid 1980s to early 1990s that nobody wants and us dealers can't get rid of. The vast majority of lots sent out will solely contain recognisable, and still functioning, comicbook publishing brands (e.g. Marvel, DC, Image, IDW, Dark Horse, 2000AD, etc). Some may even contain a small amount of comics that were published through subsidiary imprints of those still existing comic publishers (Marvel UK, Vertigo, etc). Yes, there are cheaper lots than this to be found, but when we often see people coming back for more it means they have been happy customers. The reason we have to sell these comics at this price and for a tiny fraction of their retail worth is that we often buy people's collections. We are only a small operation and to attempt to individually list all the comics that come through our doors would be literally impossible. If you are a new reader and just want to sample what is out there in the world of comics then a lot like this is for you. For seasoned readers these are also a good bet as you will get a lot of reading enjoyment for the price you pay. Like we said before, there will be a reasonable amount of sets and unbroken runs alongside the random stuff which makes these lots well worth the money. We may be able to accommodate small requests for a few comics of a particular title, but please don't ask us for 100 comics of one specific character or a lot of all Marvel and/or DC comics. All lots will need to contain a mixture of Marvel, DC and Indie comics. If you do have any small requests please make sure you contact us BEFORE you place an order as this will avoid any confusion or potential disappointment. This is a great jumping on opportunity for anyone who wants to explore the world of comics but doesn't know where to start. Just to note though, although we will endeavour to keep everything as high grade as possible, the condition of some comics can, at times, be variable. The intention of these lots were more about providing people the opportunity to read comics and enjoy them in the way they were intended. Given that these are already 2nd hand, some might show very light to moderate signs of previous reading. There's no point in us making promises that every single comic is going to be absolutely pristine. Obviously that doesn't mean we plan on sending out low grade comics, it's more just to understand that we have 1,000s of comics in storage and it's impossible to go over each one with a fine toothcomb. .
