Description: This listing is for a beautiful circa 1930s Depression Era block optic uranium/vaseline lunch/salad/sandwich plate with a diameter of approximately 8 inches. Crafted by Hocking Glass prior to the 1937 merger which created the Anchor Hocking Company in the United States, these gorgeous green uranium glass plates are in the Block Optic pattern which have that unmistakable beautiful green glow under black lights. Check out the pictures! The condition of this plate is ACCEPTABLE to GOOD with NO chips, cracks, but a good amount of wear and scratches. This is a used plate so there is typical wear & tear (utensil marks) consistent with its vintage, almost antique age. View and zoom-in on pictures for further details! Pictures taken with and without flash. The deeper green is due to the flash.
