Description: For sale is a rare engraved base Western Electric 262B vacuum tube with mesh plates. These were used in Western Electric 92B amplifiers as well as 86 and 49 amps. The latter used 262A tubes, but I’m told they’re interchangeable, as the 262B is the successor to the earlier A model. Cosmetically, the tube looks excellent. Please refer to the pictures for finer details. It was tested on my calibrated Hickok TV-7 tube tester. It tested strong where the minimum for a good tube is 25. RESULTS - 37.0 As this is a vintage item, it tubes are being sold "as is." No returns are accepted. If you have any questions, please send me a message and I'll do my best respond quickly.
