The specimen has been estimated at 1.6 m (5.2 ft) in length with a weight ranging from 33 to 40 kg (73 to 88 lb) and walked on two long, well-developed hind limbs. The forelimbs were long and slender, with three long clawed fingers clearly suited for grasping, ripping, and tearing, and had a wide lower jaw with a skull that likely had a crest. It was first found with the remains of eggs that were thought to belong to Protoceratops.
