This die set comes installed with strong neodymium magnets which allows you to quickly attach the dies to the inside of your vise jaws. Our dies are 3D printed using a high compressive strength polymer, making it possible to bend sheet metal. Using a vise with a deeper throat will allow you to form longer flanges in your part. If tightening the vise by hand is difficult, use a pipe or wrench around the handle to apply more force. Sticking a small magnetic angle level on your part while bending can help you get consistent angles outside of 90 degrees. Offset dies allow you to form two bends a certain distance apart, which would be difficult or impossible to do with conventional tooling. You can decrease the height of the offset by forming the bends at less than 90 degrees, which will still keep the material parallel to the flange.
