Description: Another great Dick Barley show, played the weekend of January 13, 2001. In keeping with his most common theme, Dick dedicates two hours to a featured year, then 2 hours to an artist. The year this time is January 1964 (Hours One and Two) and the artist is The Turtles (Hours 3 & 4). CDs are perfect, as usual, but the DJ obviously went wild marking along with the show as it progressed. Still, the info is legible. It's sad, really, that these are the last produced radio shows available for collectors. The CD was the final physical copy of a show which eventually became available as an audio file, WAV or MP3. I suppose there are still digital copies of the logs/scripts for today's shows, but somehow it's not the same. So celebrate the year 1964 and the Turtles with this show! (And, as usual, Dick includes hits from other years as well.) As I mentioned above, the DJ on duty was a bit rough on the paperwork, but there’s nothing to be done about that. Most stations just threw them out-thus making them collectable.
